JL Advisors believes in the strength, power and voice of women and, in particular, the value of women partnering with women.
Haiti’s Constitution “ensures to all women representation in power and decision-making bodies that is consistent with gender equality and equity” (preamble). It stipulates a quota of at least 30% of women to be “recognized at all levels of national life, including public services” (art 17.1).
Yet, in all sectors and, in particular, the financial sector, gender diversity continues to be lacking at the highest levels. To counter this disparity, we seek to partner with women in Haiti to develop their capacity to lead, in line with this mandate.
By creating strong relationships through mentoring, we hope that early career professionals can learn from those who already have prior experience.
